Interview with Producer Mark Johnson

I knew a Mark Johnson in high school, but it wasn't this one. I did meet the producer of the Narnia series in Hollywood several months back, however, while covering the press junket for The Notebook. Johnson is a good match for the Narnia series, as he's not the least bit biased against Christianity—and in fact doesn't even see Hollywood as being overtly antagonistic toward issues of faith. And unlike many of his peers, he doesn't see a major shift in tinseltown as a result of The Passion's success.

IGN Filmforce has just published a new interview with Mr. Johnson.

Thanks for the compliment! It's nice to see that folks are still running across it, even though we stopped updating things almost a year ago now.

I first met Johnson during interviews for The Notebook, and found him very warm and engaging. And his track record speaks for itself.

And yes -- he was a good fit for Narnia, in the same way that Barry Osborne was the perfect fit for Jackson's LOTR.

Thanks for reading!
