First Production Photo: The Pevensies
Well, NarniaWeb did have the first production still of the children from the first Narnia movie.
But the bad children at NarniaWeb didn't have permission to run it. So Disney very kindly asked them to take it down. And wanting to be in Disney's good graces (and legal, of course) NarniaWeb complied.
But we were on top of things at this blog. You could see it here, too, for about three hours, before Disney caught up with NarniaWeb. And that's the great thing about blogging: it was NarniaWeb's mistake, not ours! And when the picture disappeared, we were just left with white space.
But we didn't copy it! Nope! Not us. We like Disney.

Why is it better to have a link to an illegal picture than to actually have it on your site? I see no difference. NarniaWeb took down the picture as soon as Disney told them to. They just made a mistake- why is that worth defaming the site?
Uhh... That was all sarcasm. Sorry the tone wasn't clear. We and Narniaweb are all chums.
Disney just had a very tight reign on publicity materials during preproduction, and we all found it a bit frustrating. Everyone's trying to do the right thing and still get as much info out as we can, legally and ethically, and sometimes that's pretty difficult. We, like Narniaweb, got our own calls from Disney about links and such.
